Atrilogy’s direct client is looking for a Sr. ServiceNow Platform Developer/Process Manager to join their team. This role is a Full Time Direct Hire position that can sit 100% remote.
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Under the supervision of the IT Service Management Office, the Senior ServiceNow Developer will perform various tasks to deliver IT solutions that exceed customer expectations and will play a key role leading our client’s software development lifecycle with a specific focus on demand management, technical requirement creation and core design decisions for the ServiceNow Platform. The position requires a strong knowledge of development methodologies and software tools used during the various SDLC phases of an IT project in addition to expertise in Agile development and design thinking.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Review requests from key internal / external stakeholders and assist in demand prioritization to achieve the company’s strategic vision for ServiceNow
Play the role of Process Manager in the operations and continual improvement of the Company’s Demand Management process
Assist in the development and execution of a ServiceNow technical requirement framework, enabling flawless delivery and reducing time to deployment for platform enhancements and projects
Co-create roadmaps for platform capabilities to share with process owners and stakeholders
Identify opportunities to streamline existing workflows, focused on automation enablement while ensuring quality
Design key elements of the ServiceNow system, including workflows, business rules, automation and process flows
Build service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows
Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create scripts and automate tasks on the platform
Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data
Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must-Have*
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of seven (7) years of IT Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of ServiceNow Development experience
Skills and Knowledge
ServiceNow implementation experience in the core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Request and Catalog)
Familiar with the current ServiceNow release as well as popular modules such as Employee Center, Service Portal, ITOM, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer and Agile/PPM
Strong background and experience in Scrum, Agile and Lean methodologies
Hands on experience in Glide, Java Script, XML, AJAX
Knowledge of one or more of the following: HTML/CSS, JSON, AngularJS.
ITIL Practitioner or ITIL Service Manager level qualification a plus
Ability to translate business needs into appropriate technical requirements
Ability to improve operational efficiency and service delivery effectiveness across all lines of business and technology platforms
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
