Software Delivery Manager
Direct Hire (Permanent Role)
100% REMOTE (Client is based in Multiple Locations in USA)
The Development Delivery Manager will help guide their team with the planning and successful delivery of web-based and mobile software. The role is an equal combination of people and technical management where you will lead a team of developers, establish, and manage timelines, and assist in client deliverables. We are looking for someone good at fostering discussions with stakeholders and who will collaborate internally with leadership and product teams. The ideal candidate is someone who can help guide a delivery team tasked with delivering robust technical solutions and developing ongoing support plans.
Manage team resources by communicating and clarifying requirements, removing obstacles, and managing their roadblocks, managing time and tasks, assist with cross team dependencies.
Manage work intake, verifying stakeholder acceptance criteria and priority Verification and validation of team deliveries
Provide direction and feedback to enable everyone to achieve individual and team goals
Foster a culture of Agile to deliver outcomes that meet expectations in a timely manner
In accordance with applicable policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities: Interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or related field preferred.
5 years of experience in technology development and delivery
2 years managerial / leadership experience with direct reports
Advanced knowledge and experience in software development methodologies including Agile, Lean, Waterfall.
Strong Atlassian skills (Jira, Confluence) for planning, resource management and release planning.
Excellent people management, communication, collaboration.
Familiarity with code management; CI/CD, Git, DevOps a big plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, React, and/or iOS mobile preferred.
