Mid or Senior Level Technical SAP HCM Developer/Analyst (ONSITE)

Our direct client is looking for a Mid or Senior Technical SAP HCM ABAP Developer contractor for a 6-12 month contract at their HQ in Houston, Texas.
MUST BE ABLE TO SIT ONSITE 3 DAYS PER WEEK (Client is located near the Energy Corridor).   Client may be OK with someone onsite 2 days per week.

Client extends every 6-months and is expecting this project to last a minimum of 1 year!   
Techno/Functional mix (Must have the technical piece, even if light on Functional.  ABAP Coding

You will be sitting on the HR-IT side
Client is running a mature on-prem SAP ECC HCM/Payroll System
Helping with Business understand HR and some payroll issues on their SAP HR System.  
This is a mature system.

+++ You will also get to help with a NEW SuccessFactors implementation  (NO exp on this is needed) ***

IT-HR Information Analyst Contractor

Requirement Summary
Client is looking for an experienced Technical SAP Information Analyst within the Human Resources (Most important) and Payroll (Secondary, does not need to be as strong)
The candidate should have experience with the following SAP HCM sub-modules:  (DOES NOT NEED ALL MODULES LISTED BELOW....HR is more important)
  • Payroll
  • Time Management
  • BSI
  • Benefits
  • Personnel Administration
  • Organizational Management
Key requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

(This is an individual contributor position, not a lead)
  • Gathering of requirements, design, configuration, testing and deployment of functionality related to SAP HCM modules.  Technical ABAP exp needed!!
  • Must be customer focused and possess: (1) the ability to identify and analyze issues and develop solutions to a variety of highly complex problems; (2) excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings; (3) excellent interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of employees, management, external contacts, end-users, and technical contacts; (4) the ability to maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Must understand how SAP HR business processes are integrated from end to end and their effects on o workflow, SAP Security, Medical systems, Safety Environmental/Impact, Managers Desktop/MSS, SATS, Compensation programs, and Total Reward programs.
  • Needs to be self-motivated and detail oriented.
 
Job Description

Role Summary
The HCM Information Analyst is responsible for implementing HR business solutions that support Client’s business needs. As part of the IT-HR team, the Analyst will be a key partner with the business users to provide business process analysis, process design, project planning, system development, implementation, and continued support of the desired business solution.  The HCM Analyst will work as a technical Developer/Analyst with SAP ECC6 as the primary technology platform, within the following SAP HCM sub-modules: Payroll and Time Management, BSI, Benefits, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, WorkForce Software and SuccessFactors.

Direct Manager: Senior Information Analyst Supervisor

Qualifications
  • College Degree (Bachelors Level).
  • A minimum of 6+ years of SAP HCM technical and functional experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills - must be able to multi-task.

Role/Responsibilities
  • Analysis – Collaborate with process owners to analyze business processes and propose process improvements enabled by information technology. 
  • Design and development – Develop technical designs and implement software solutions to support business process improvements.  Development may include custom programming using Client's approved development tools and/or package software configuration.
  • System Support – Anticipate and investigate production system problems/questions ascertaining root cause and corrective action needed.  Design, develop, test and implement corrective action.
