Atrilogy Solutions Group’s direct client is searching for Senior Research Software Developer to join their team.   

Position: Senior Research Software Developer

Location: 100% REMOTE
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Information
  • Technology field of study with substantial experience will be considered.
  • Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
Minimum Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in java, HTML, SQL and any structured computer language such as C, Java, C#, with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three to five years of experience required or Master’s degree.
  • Experience with relational databases, and nosql and object-relational mapping required.
  • 5 years of experience building reports utilizing SSRS and or Tableau
  • 5-7 years of experience building large scale enterprise level software platforms in an Agile environment.
Preferred Education:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study required.
Preferred Experience:
  • Must have worked in a software engineering or development role building enterprise scale applications and software systems.
  • Experience with unit testing and continuous integration desired, but not a must
  • Experience with Scientific or Clinical Research software development is very highly desirable
  • Experience with Laboratory information management system desirable
  • Skills/Abilities: Software design and engineering skills are a must.
  • Solid understanding of object oriented concepts
  • SQL, MSsql, nosql, postgresSQL, mysql required.
  • Web Services, basic knowledge of SOA. WCF/OData a plus.
  • Good backend architecture/design skills
  • Standard web development skills – ANGULAR, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
  • Familiarity with Java stack and Spring framework
  • Familiarity with IIS/Windows Server administration preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team with both local and remote team members
  • Foster and promote a positive image and professional appearance
  • Display tact/consideration in dealing
  • Document activities and programs
  • Instruct/train others
  • Troubleshoot problems
