Atrilogy’s direct client is seeking a Business Analyst/ Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team for a Fully Remote Contract-to-hire Opportunity 

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Author comprehensive stories for the supported product teams, based on business use cases and support/maintenance needs
  • Break down project or epic level work into actionable user stories for the development team
  • Synthesize input (strategy/objectives) from business stakeholders with brainstorming and grooming sessions with team, into actionable stories in the product backlog
  • Ensure backlog items are clearly and completely documented, visible, transparent, and clear
  • Assist with dependency ordering of items in the backlog to best achieve goals and missions
  • Participate in cross functional meetings between various business partners and technical teams, gather requirements from calls, and ensure alignment on decisioning between product team and business team
  • Ability to identify and understand upstream / downstream impacts of development work
  • Verifying that code meets acceptance criteria, through postman and manual UI testing.
    Ability to write and execute test cases
  • Knowledge of when additional testing is appropriate given upstream / downstream impacts
  • Process / documentation driven. Test cases, results, screenshots need to be captured and documented. Business sign-off on user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.
  • Experience with application development and data automation.
  • Experience capturing / writing clear, detailed acceptance criteria
  • Ability to transform business ask to something an engineer can follow and vice versa.
  • Willingness to wear multiple hats to help the team meet its objectives
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Willingness and desire to learn and grow new skills
  • Knowledge and experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Preference for candidates with data modeling and analysis skills
  • Hospitality industry knowledge a plus
Tools: Jira, AWS Knowledge, SQL, Cherwell, Postman, Quicksight
Must possess (3+) years of hands-on experience as a QA Analyst, Business Analyst or a mixture of both.
