Job Description

The Manager, Development & Solutions Architect will manage the development team daily activities ensuring that all development work is properly documented (70%) in addition to providing solutions as needed (30%).  This position will ensure the quality of the product meets the architectural standards set for the enterprise in addition to the process being followed by the developers. The Manager, Development & Solutions daily coordinates communication between onshore and offshore development tasks and resources. This position will work with other IT resources and engineering team to understand business processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily work of the development team in alignment with the technical vision set for the team
  • Providing solution guidance for different scenarios on outages and daily technical blockers for developers
  • Meticulously document site revisions and code updates in addition to enforcing standards and sound development methodologies
  • Oversee the release management process per the guidelines set for the enterprise

Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a development manager/architect in software field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in microservices environment.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in hands-on solution architect experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with development teams to ensure a high-quality software product deliverable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and managing deliverables.
