Lead, manage, and contribute to compliance with FDICIA.
Evaluate risks within the Accounting and Finance functions and assist with other projects/tasks, as assigned.
Develop and manage a population of supplemental accounting controls and periodic testing of these controls.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting guidance and FDICIA regulations to ensure the Company's compliance.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years Accounting/Finance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience with an emphasis in internal controls.
Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
Strong analytical skills with ability to assess details as well as the big picture.
Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (2002), Sec 404 and 302. Knowledge of COSO Integrated Frameworks for Internal Control. Knowledge of internal control structure and processes.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and advanced Excel skills.
Well-organized with ability to prioritize.
Very detail oriented and able to function in a fast-paced environment with the ability to take initiative.
Demonstrates ability to advance multiple priority assignments concurrently and within established deadlines.
Experience in public accounting (Big 4), CPA preferred
Experience in banking/credit card industry
Experience with Blackline
Experience with FDICIA compliance
