SAP Solutions Delivery Manager - Remote - (SAP PP/PPPI/MM/QM/PM)

Our direct client is looking to hire a Remote - SAP Solutions Delivery Manager for a direct hire/permanent role.

Must be able to support Eastern Time Zone
Client located in Columbus, Ohio
Occasional travel to Columbus will be required, perhaps 1 week a quarter and client will pay for travel costs
Direct Reports:   2-4 people ++ Managed services Provider

Client will consider someone with Senior SAP Project Lead exp without direct reports exp.

Must have SAP PP and experience in Manufacturing environment. Should have experience with few of these Modules: SAP PP/PPPI/MM/QM/PM

You will be working for a global Chemical Manufacturer and working for with an AWESOME Manager and great team!!  Very stable and seasoned SAP team.

 This position will be working on the SAP team and working with the managed service provider.

5+ years hands-on experience in SAP ECC6 PP/PPPI/MM/QM/PM/MRP and related master data structure  (DOES NOT NEED TO HAVE EVERY ONE)  

The Solution Manager position requires someone who is both deep and broad in their technical expertise and can also bridge the gap to project management in their ability to take on issues, research root cause, and push toward ultimate long-term solutions. A solution manager should be able to work effectively with a managed service provider and be a champion of governance, architecture, and controls within the related areas of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the following areas within SAP ERP:  Production Planning / P2P / Quality Management / Inventory Management and Plant Maintenance
  • Understand capabilities and limitations of standard SAP technical architecture/solution in assigned area and provide expertise on current processes and procedures
  • Experience with manufacturing/shop floor related processes and disciplines.
  • Coordinate and prioritize all escalated activities, including testing, project management and implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Frequently interact with digital product owners to:
    • Integrate knowledge of the business and functional priorities
    • Understand business processes and requirements
  • Assess critical path and assist in implementation of any projects required by the business
  • Manage scope and act as scrum masters for enhancements and projects
  • Create and/or review specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEFs) and other functional specifications from end user/ business requirements. 
  • Provide technical oversight to ensure that development accurately addresses issues reported
  • Review and approve deliverables produced by third party vendors
  • Coordinate & prioritize escalated issues
  • Ensure timely delivery of services
  • Ensure adherence to documented processes & procedures
  • Manage capacity and third-party service providers
  • Track progress & quality of work against delivery plan
  • The candidate needs to be able to work independently and is self-driven to complete tasks and determine the correct approach to implement solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience in a related field
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in SAP ECC6 PP/PPPI/MM/QM/PM/MRP and related master data structure  
  • Strong analytical skills for complex problem solving.
  • Experience with Release Management, Configuration management, Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis and Design
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System software and related interfaces, and EMI (Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence ) solutions and architecture
  • Ability to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate within a matrix environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Previous experience in a managed service environment ( A PLUS)
