Technical Data Engineer - Product Owner - 100% Remote

Atrilogy’s direct client is seeking an Data Engineer / Product Owner to join their growing team. This is 100% REMOTE, full-time, direct-hire role.
Must work PST hours.


The Data Engineer - Product Owner will engage, in data modeling, database architecture, data integration, metadata and repository creation, and enablement of reporting and analytics. Creates and manages data sets compiled from multiple systems. Creates data presentations on a regular basis for company leadership, and for working with business colleagues to understand and prioritize data requests. Establishes and maintains data quality procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data. Manages differing sets of data requests and analytics. Builds consistent reporting metrics through requirements gathering, initial analysis, and application of up-to-date practices, collaborating with stakeholders to produce meaningful data. The creation and maintenance of Source-to-Contract documentation including but not limited to procedures, process flows, data and system mapping is required.

The Data Engineer / Product Owner will play key role in enhancing, upgrading, and maintaining the Source-to-Contract applications as well as implementing and supporting the Source-to-Contract technology. This individual is responsible for the day-to- day administration, configuration, and performance monitoring of our vendor purchased software-as-a service system. This person will be responsible for design and implementation of the robust data management environment (including data integrated from disparate systems) within the Source-to-Contract System.



RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and implement a robust data management environment, including data integrations from disparate systems, within the Source-to-contract System. Engages in data modeling, database architecture, data integration, metadata and repository creation, and enablement of reporting and analytics. Creates and manages data sets complied from multiple systems. Establishes and maintains data quality procedures to ensure accuracy and timelines of data.
  • Builds consistent reporting metrics through requirements gathering, initial analysis, and application of up-to-date practices, collaborating with stakeholders to produce meaningful data. Managers differing sets of data requests and analytics
  • Creates and maintains documentation of Source-to-Contract procedures, process flows, data, and system mapping, etc.
 QUAILFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree BA or BS degree is preferred -OR-
  • Associate's Degree Technical degree with >12 years of experience in the IT field -OR-
  • 10+ years' experience in IT related fields: A combination of experience in System Administration, Software Development, IT Product Management, System Implementation, Database, Data Management and Modeling, or related IT discipline
  • Some exposure or experience with Procurement, Contracts, Strategic Sourcing
  • Advanced degree preferred
