Job Description

WebSphere Commerce Developers provide technical leadership to our project teams including planning, guiding the design, estimation, user interface, people management, issue resolution and quality assurance. WebSphere Commerce Developers collaborate across disciplines and use their in-depth knowledge of WCS technology to deliver business solutions for our clients.

Your Impact:

  • Translate the client’s business requirements into systems design
  • Implement WCS architecture, visualization and development processes
  • Help drive planning exercises
  • Coordinate globally dispersed development and quality assurance
  • Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
  • Write bug-free code
Your Skills and Experience:
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • (WebSphere Commerce Server) WCS Developer with 5-7 years of hands-on WCS 7.x/8.x/9.x development experience in Retail Ecommerce space
  • Experience with Catalog, Order, Payment and Member SubSystems in WCS
  • ​Experience with Performance Analysis/Troubleshooting while providing solutions to optimize application performance
  • Good understanding of memory management, multithreading, thread/connection pooling etc.
  • Experience with WCS Dataload
Set Yourself Apart With:
  • Experience with Decoupled implementation with APIs and Microservices using SpringBoot
  • Knowledge of the following components of WCS are an added bonus: Sales Center, Management Center, and integration with external search engine (Endeca or Omnifind).
  • Product Management System exposure
  • Knoweledge of Public Cloud Platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Micrsosoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience in Java performance tuning/holiday readiness
  • Experience with JVM monitoring and diagnostic for optimal application performance.
