Our Direct Client is looking to hire an AEM Architect.

Position : AEM Architect
Location : Phoenix AZ (COVID REMOTE)
Contract To Hire

Provides a high level of technical expertise in development and support of new or enhanced business intelligence, business analytics and web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . Performs full software life cycle development including, requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, implementation, testing and debugging.
Conceptualizes technical complexity into usable, largescale architectures that are compliant with established standards.
Provides technology architectural assessments, blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.

Leads technology team to build and maintain Complex web applications using AEM to include site architecture, custom components, workflow development, Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementation, object model design (Java APIs), implementation, and unit testing.
Creates system requirements, performs design and analysis, and coding and unit testing of complex to highly complex system functionality and/or defect correction across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities include participation in identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
Provides architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation. Provides hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to developers.
Assists in setting up Jenkins automated deployments to Dev, QA and Prod and ensures established code quality gates in Sonar are passed before code is released to Production.

Promotes technical mastery by serving as a resource for resolving unique or complex problems. Confers with and advises team members on technical problems, priorities and methods.
Delivers system enhancements by planning and recommending innovative technologies. Works closely with management to determine longer-term technical needs and direction.  Develops and implements cost effective approaches and/or automation solutions that lower operating costs.
Works with Project Managers to manage the technical scope and business expectations. Interfaces with vendors to resolve issues. Demonstrates technical thought leadership.
Maintains technical currency by reviewing trade publications, researching technical documentation and pursuing training relevant to Company operating environments.  Maintains working understanding of client business functions.
Protects the Company by handling business sensitive information with appropriate confidentiality.

Experience: Minimum 8 years related experience in functional area.
Minimum 6 years of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) development experience.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires fully competent knowledge of hardware engineering and software design theories.

    Skills: Software development using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
    AEM 6.5, AEM 6.3, Adobe CQ5.5, AEM 5.6.1, CRX, JCR, Sling and OSGI technologies.
    System performance monitoring, analysis and management
    Adobe Analytics (Omniture) , Tealium, Adobe Target Integration, Personalization.
    Java, J2EE, CVS, SVN, GIT and MAVEN.
    JUnit and LOG4J.
    JDBC, JSP, Servlets, JSON and AJAX.
    Java Beans, EJB, Servlets, JDBC and JSP.
    HTML, JavaScript, JSTL, CSS.
    SOAP and REST webservices.
    Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Site Improve
    Agile and Scrum process methodologies

Familiarity with micro services.
Experience hosting AEM in AWS, backup and autoscaling.
Demonstrated ability to manage software development projects through completion.
Effective interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with end users.
Advanced technical mastery in area of specialty or broad multi-disciplinary knowledge.

Problem Solving: Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve most technically complex problems. Uses a wide degree of creativity and latitude to analyze and resolve problems.
