Senior Full Stack Engineer – Java & Angular
6 to 12+ Months (Possibility of Long-Term Extensions or Full Time Conversion)
100% Remote Until COVID
The client is looking for a strong full-stack developer who is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced agile development environment. You will be a key contributor in designing and implementing key product features. This is a highly technical role requiring excellent coding skills.
You will be responsible for developing a powerful, intuitive enterprise level data platform built on a Java and AngularJS stack.
At least six years of relevant software development experience
Hands-on experience in test automation, CI CD engineering practices to be applied in software development teams
Hands on experience of MyEclipse IDE, Junit, ANT, Maven, Git/BitBucket
Hands on experience of server side development using REST/JSON APIs
Demonstrated knowledge of agile development processes, software testing and documentation
Ability to comprehend detailed project specifications as well as the ability to adapt to various technologies and simultaneously work on multiple projects
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Proven oral and written communication skills
Additional Preferred Experience
Working knowledge of relational databases
Experience developing Dropwizard or Spring Boot services
Familiarity with CI/CD build automation
Familiarity creating and using Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift
Experience working with remote teams
Hands-on experience with Cassandra is highly desirable
Experience working with Cloud environments and technologies (AWS preferred)
