Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Austin, TX
Atrilogy's direct client is searching for a Supply Chain Analyst for a 6 Month contract opportunity in Austin, TX.
 
You will be a key member of a global sourcing team that is embracing agile and automation as a lifestyle. You will help develop Engineering Change Orders and revisions, help support strategic processes to enhance supply chain management processes. You will learn what is important to our business, and make good decisions about our processes, how to manage your time and find the best approach to testing it– all with an intense customer focus.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Supply management of new product launches and end-of-life products to minimize risk and avoid shortages.
  • Review ECO’s and ER’s for Sourcing and approve per process after RFQ is completed.
  • Update attributes in Oracle for new part numbers as part of the ER process.
  • Help to process and submit RFQ’s as assigned to help expedite the process.
  • Provide weekly status of completed ER’s and ECO’s and ones that are pending.
  • Review and address issues and actions to support Global Commodity Leaders.
  • Create and Manage filing of Supplier setup and forms.
  • Plan, coordinate and/or routing of all ER’s to Global Commodity Leaders.
  • Works closely with Global Commodity Leaders to assist them in on-going projects.
  • Review and provide follow-up to Supplier setup and maintain necessary records.
  • Interact and implement updates to Global Sourcing SharePoint site.
  • Weekly reporting.
 
Required Skills:
  • B.S. / B.A. Degree – Preferred.
  • Prior experience in product planning, production control, inventory management.
  • Production/manufacturing operations – Preferred.
  • Experience in Oracle, intermediate skills – Mandatory.
  • Excel and reporting experience a must.
  • Sharepoint knowledge.
  • Knowledge of MRP system.
  • Excellent problem solving and communications skills.
  • Candidate must be analytical with accuracy and attention to detail on numbers a must.
  • Consistently demonstrate through words and actions a customer-focused approach (both internal and external customers).
  • Must be a team player.
  • Good written and verbal communications.
