Front End Web Developer

Location: Allen, TX
Our direct client is looking for a full-time Front End Web Developer to work with their web development team. 
  • Location: Allen TX
  • Full Time Direct Hire / Salary
  • In-Person Interviews are required
  • Onsite position, Monday – Friday
This position requires a combination of programming skills (HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, etc.) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices).

Experience with responsive and adaptive design is a preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge, is preferred.
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery
  • AngularJS experience
  • Bootstrap experience is a plus
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Assist/support the capturing of client, internal and third party business and functional requirements.
  • Work with business partners to re-engineer existing business processes and enhance software to drive efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Design, Develop and maintain front-end web development efforts
  • Implement changes and/or new features to existing platform
  • Produce scalable, robust, high-quality code
  • Production support and troubleshooting
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and provide leadership and mentoring to associate software engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with latest web technologies
  • Provides after hour support as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Front-End Development (HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Prototype)
  • Experience with XML, JSON, MySQL, and responsive design is required
  • Experience with Source Control (git) is preferred
  • Experience developing unit tests, integration tests
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) in English is a must
