Desktop Support

Location: San Francisco, CA
Our direct client Help Desk / IT Technical Support for a 3-12 month + contract in San Francisco, CA.
 
  • Local candidates
  • 3-month contract to start but can go longer based on performance
  • Onsite role in San Francisco, CA (Financial District)
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test. 
 
The Help Desk / IT Technical Support will act as Level I / II technical support for our Direct Client with offices located in the downtown San Francisco area. No travel outside of San Francisco Bay Area.
 
Candidate need to have hands on experience with:
  • Managing Active Directory
  • MAC Support
  • Networking Knowledge
  • Troubleshooting
  • Office 365
  • Phone System Management  
 
Requirements: 
  • At least 5 years of Helpdesk support work experience
  • Hands on experience with MS Outlook, MS Office
  • Intermediate knowledge of:
    • Microsoft technologies, including AD user account management
    • VMware Horizon View
    • Managing thin/zero clients
    • Hardware troubleshooting, including laptops, desktop, MFPs, desktop equipment, and conferencing equipment
    • Supporting mobile devices
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Networking fundamentals, including supporting remote user connectivity
    • Ticketing systems (ServiceNow and/or JIRA preferred)
    • Supporting Asterisk-based SIP PBX and devices
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Willing to be on-call 24/7
