Wireless Test Engineer

Atrilogy's Direct Client is looking for a Wireless Testing Engineer for a 6 Months Contract to Potential hire role in Louisville, CO.

Location: Louisville, CO
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

The Wireless Testing Team is seeking a testing engineer to support our client's testing services group with a focus on wireless technologies. The candidate will work with senior members of the team to help with executing and reporting of test cases and test plans used to validate device implementations in the wireless industry. This candidate should have a solid level understanding of network protocols with emphasis in Media Access Control and Transport protocols.

The primary job duties and responsibilities are:
  • Executing, troubleshooting, and communicating test case coverage.
  • Work with senior team members to help define and improve test cases.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with devices under test.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with test environments and test equipment.
  • Follow project plans and proactively identify risks and mitigation.
  • Ability to work in collaborative environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 
  • 1-5 years hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
    • Configuring wireless home networking equipment
    • Testing consumer electronic equipment
    • Designing and executing test cases
  • Desirable experience:
    • B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 
    • Designing test plans for CPE and/or network equipment.
    • Wi-Fi, ZigBee, ZWave, and BLE.
    • Low powered WAN networks including sensors.
    • LTE technologies such as eNodeB and MME.
    • Experience in at least one computer scripting language.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, although anticipated travel is less than 10%.
