District Sales Manager - Hardware

Location: Denver, CO
A direct client of Atrilogy is looking for a dynamic District Sales Manager in Denver, CO for a full time role. 

This position is responsible for driving growth in a diverse Equipment, Professional Services, and Hosted & Managed Services sales organization.The District Sales Manager leads the sales team, while effectively promoting a wide variety of IT on-premise, Data Center and IT Managed Services solutions, as well as related products and services
 
The District Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in their assigned market. This position staffs and directs the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the Company’s vision and values. The District Sales Manager will establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in their assigned area and will contribute to the development of training and educational programs for his or her sales team, and for clients.
 
Travel required as business dictates.

Responsibilities 
  • Manages sales teams, which includes developing, training, measuring performance and coaching the team to meet and exceed team sales goals, profitability goals, and effectiveness.
  • Develop relationships with current customers and new prospects, retain the existing customer base and add new clients to meet and exceed revenue objectives.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key vendor partners, including Cisco, HP, Dell EMC and VMWare.
  • Understand, support and teach the Company and partner (Cisco, HP,  Dell EMC, etc.) processes and tools.
  • Develop, analyze and present all forecast data to senior leadership, as well as overall sales management team.
  • Monitor competitive performance, customer feedback and satisfaction.
  • Establish target revenue and gross margin (GM) goals for sales team to coincide with all on premise, professional services, and hosted & managed services objectives.
  • Oversee the interview, hire and training processes for all new sales team members to ensure the team is fully staffed.
  • Manage expenses within budget.

Qualifications 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 7 + years of sales in on-premise computer / network hardware and software or hosted systems.
  • 2+ years supervising and/or leading a sales team.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
Other Qualifications:
  • 2+ years computer / network experience
  • Knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office.
  • An interest in working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Critical thinking, analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Data Center and Managed Services experience preferred.
  • Previous sales experience in the Denver market, as well as relationships with local technology partners (Cisco, HP, Dell EMC, etc.).
  • Assertive to help team members work cohesively and share ideas effectively.
  • Independent, while working in a cooperative framework, utilizing ideas from others when appropriate.
  • Able to solve problems with critical analysis, considering viable alternative solutions.
  • The ability to manage a complex solution sale that may include on-premise hardware and software, as well as professional services along with hosted (ReliaCloud) or CoLocation offerings.
  • Positive, optimistic, and able to manage stress.
