HRIS Sr. Systems Analyst – Workday (compensation and/or Payroll) 

Location: Irvine, CA
Our Direct Client in Irvine, CA is hiring a HRIS Sr. Systems Analyst – Workday (compensation and/or Payroll)  in a 6 month+ contract role
 
HRIS Sr. Systems Analyst – Workday

Strong preference for local candidate.
Virtual candidates considered, with priority for those in or closest to the west coast
 
Required Knowledge
  • Detailed knowledge of foundation data, business processes, custom objects and rules in HCM, Compensation and/or payroll
  • Workday Report Writer and calculated fields
  • Ability to build business specifications, test plans and test scenarios documents
  • Build/Modify business process configurations
  • Development of data mapping/specifications for reports and/or integrations
 
Required Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting/deploying Workday HCM/Compensation configuration
  • Hands-on experience with building/modifying business processes
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues around configuration and data
  • Strong experience with understanding HR/Compensation business needs and translating them into system specifications
  • Deeply familiar with testing and validation techniques and tools for HR/Compensation data
  • Experience in working in an operational and project environment for a large organization
 
For local candidates, ability to work from home for 1-2 days a week based on Manager's discretion and after candidate has completed on-the-job orientation to the Manager's satisfaction.
