Reporting Analyst

Location: Bellevue, WA
Our direct client is looking for a Reporting Analyst for a 6 month contract in Bellevue, WA 98004
 
  • In-Person Interview Required
  • Onsite Role Monday – Friday
  • 6-month Contract Role
  • 40-hour work week
 
Our client is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to support the portfolio management function across the global technology brands and operations.
 
As a Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and executing reporting and analytics cycles, data and variance analysis, business and system process mapping, and supporting a dynamic and diverse portfolio management team on a day to day basis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 2 plus years in a portfolio analyst or reporting analyst role
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Flexibility and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project terminology and methodologies
  • Interaction with Tableau preferred
  • Dealing with Operational Data (Financial / Finance Data / Accounting data / Transactional Data)
  • Datasets
  • Requirement gathering, creating specification, talking to users
  • Excellent verbal, written, and data presentation skills
  • Strong ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
  • Agility and Flexibility within a changing environment
  • Experience with Large Enterprise Environment
 
Responsibilities:
  • Influence decision makers using meaningful financial and operational analytics based off the resource and project data within Clarity.
  • Help to manage and deliver assistance with core business tools and processes
  • Ad-hoc portfolio-related data analysis (e.g. gather and synthesize relevant data, conduct periodic internal ‘data audits’)
  • Work in close coordination with the Finance team, providing support and analysis as needed
  • Support the development of, and facilitate, robust communication to our various stakeholders
  • Maintain daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting processes and procedures; develop and maintain associated process documentation
  • Validate report results and insure consistency in the data; work with the team to investigate any data inconsistencies; perform analysis of data and troubleshoot current data integrity problems
  • Provide thoughtful analysis of the information provided by all user groups in order to drive visibility, operational effectiveness and actionable changes.
  • Provide high-level coverage for team members who might be out of the office
