Systems Analyst II

Location: Cypress, CA
Our direct current client is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as both a BSA and supporting an ERP business group or team.  In this full time role, your  ERP Application knowledge in real-time Financial transactions OR inventory tracking OR warehouse management and or moving of inventory is a must for this position.   In this role, you will work with Business Stakeholders to gather, understand and document business requirements that address a variety of complex business problems.  As a Business Systems Analyst you will responsible for documenting the current business process and the desired “to be” state.  The BSA supports the planning/analysis, and testing phases of ERP projects specific to the client's specific ERP system and related applications, working closely with business stakeholders and the entire project team to insure project success.  Candidate will be mentored and trained on the existing environment, however knowledge of similar ERP processes is a must for this role.  This is a great team, working for a very supportive manager within our client.  Excellent work life balance.  

Candidate should understand SQL, be able to write, read and analyze queries as well as understand Data Structures, using SQL on a daily basis.  Demonstrated experience in writing functional specifications and working closely with the business users, understand their needs, document and work with development to put changes through inclusive of testing.  Important aspect of this role also is an understanding of server builds - coordinating that effort with team.  You will be working as the liaison between vendor's doing upgrades and installations and need to understand how the server environment will be impacted.  Previous experience in infrastructure, server configuration, networking or other technical environment is a must for this job.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years’ Systems Analysis experience required
  • 3-5+ years’ ERP systems experience required
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders and management required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products required
  • Proficiency with some collaboration tools like SharePoint and Box
  • Capable of learning new systems and creating/implementing new system functionality
  • Understands advanced internet and client/server architectures
  • Possess strong knowledge of SQL and databases
  • Knowledge of server environments, configuration options and components
