System Support Analyst

Location: Kenilworth, NJ
Our current direct client is seeking a System Support Analyst to join their team in a this new role.  The hiring manager is growing his team and committed to bring on someone who is a self starter and eager to learn more.  The System Support Analyst will be part of the Business Systems group supporting software that includes ConnectWise, Quosal, Labtech and Great Plains.  The successful candidate should be a self-starter with experience digging in and understanding new applications thoroughly to become the internal SME on the applications.   The role will include phone and deskside support, identifying documentation/training requirements and gaps as well as providing support for special initiatives that require application deployment/support and providing executive support as needed.  Client at this time if focused on candidates who have ConnectWise experience.
The job responsibilities of the Systems Support Analyst include the following:
  • Support ConnectWise and its userbase on a day to day basis though deskside and phone support.
  • Identify trends in reported issues, report them and suggest workable solutions. 
  • Focus on reducing issues and driving down ticket volumes. 
  • Identify documentation/training requirements and gaps as well as providing support for special initiatives that require application deployment/support
  • Act as the ‘super-user’ of the system.  This individual will know the system, how it is configured, why it is configured the way it is, and how it should be performing.  If the system is not performing this individual will be troubleshooting issues, educating end users on best practices, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Additionally, the role may require the support of additional corporate applications and systems that may include SharePoint, MS Office, Adobe and others.
Ideal Skills:
  • Experience with ConnectWise is a must, Quosal and Labtech are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as well as genuine pride in their work
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Must have a passion for learning their way around new technology and have excellent communication and "training" skills to ensure knowledge transfer
  • Must be high energy, analytical and detail oriented
This candidate will be the "go-to" person within the growing organization for internal application support and be passionate about wanting to help others and own the responsibility.
