Java Integration Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Java Integration Developer
 
Mid-Senior role within the Enterprise Data Services Group. You will be focused on building/testing integration services in our collaborative and agile environment. You should know how to build/consume services (SOAP/REST) and create reusable components for business services while helping in our next generation projects in the Digital and CRM domains.


What will you be doing:
  • Prepares detailed technical specs
  • Focused on writing quality code
  • Work closely with other developers
  • Plans for software implementation activities of medium to high level of complexity
  • Supports and validates integration production release activities.
  • Creates and/or updates documentation necessary for each system.
  • Ability to work across teams and departments
  • Provides Tier 3 support and resolution of open IT issues escalated by IT Customer Support
 
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Engineering is always a plus
  • 5 years of experience in OOP and proficiency with the following tools/languages:
    • Java and related components and frameworks
    • Web service protocols such as Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Maven
    • App servers such as Tomcat
    • TDD/JUnit;
    • CI/CD – Jenkins
    • Git/GitHub
    • Red Hat Enterprise
  • 4 years of experience working with RDBMS.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar tools
  • Experience writing efficient SQL.
  • Hands-on experience developing Java Message Services (JMS)
  • Understand Service Oriented Architecture concepts, designing and developing with abstraction, loose coupling, and cohesion in mind.
  • Enjoys working within a team of developers
  • Understands and experienced working in an Agile/Scrum dev environment
  • RallyDev or similar tool
