Mid Level Help Desk Level 1 Specialist

Location: Overland Park, KS
Our direct client is looking to hire THREE Mid-Level IT Help Desk Level 1 contractors for a 12-24 month role at their HQ in Overland Park, KS.  

REQUIRED
Minimum 2 - 3 years prior IT Tier 1 Help Desk experience (via phone and email)
Previous IT help desk experience requirement is 2-3 years taking end user calls on the phone; excellent customer service skills

WORK SCHEDULE:
 
The Help Desk operates from 6 am CT - 6 pm Monday - Friday . Team members are scheduled 9 hour days with an hour unpaid lunch. During the initial training period, team members work an 8 am - 5 pm schedule. Following completion of training, team members are assigned to a shift based on needs of the business. (earliest start 6 am / latest start 9 am; earliest finish 3 pm; latest finish 6 pm).  **  9 hr work days, includes 1 hr no paid lunch, 2 paid 15 minutes breaks (morning and afternoon)  **

  • Mid-level IT help desk position responsible for providing the first point of contact for IT related break-fix issues.
  • Acts as an advocate for the internal end-users ensuring proper focus is maintained and attention brought to customer needs.
  • Demonstrates competencies to perform identification, evaluation, prioritization, and resolution of issues relating to hardware, software, networking, and other computer related technologies for end users across our multiple operating companies both across the US and international.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years prior IT Tier 1 Help Desk experience (via phone and email) REQUIRED.
